I've been using it for a few days now, no noticable problems....although a 10% increase in speed might not be easily noticable, especially as I already have my laptop running in top notch condition. No problems though and if you read the list fo feature inclusions you will notice that a lot of the new features in in things such as the installer programming and such, so one might not notice anythign different immediately. I'm happy though that I got it and it works, woot woot.

(and no, the system didn't blow up....if it had though my dell completeCare waranty would have covered it and I made a complete disk backup to an extra HDD i have at work :D)

Also, sorry it took so long to update this maytter, past couple days got pretty complicated by work, housing, finals, ect.

I will warn you all not to install this until it is complete. Although your system may run ok as is, if you intend to install new applications or drivers for devices you will be pretty screwed as it will not see the version of the OS correctly. For an example if anything looks to see if you have SP2 installed, it will say you need it sp2 before the application can be installed. Worst the way drivers are installed, it will not allow you to manually install a driver that requires a specific dll or file to replace the newer one which may be required to start the device. You can uninstall you sp3 but chances are you may notice your system running flaky.

It may be too late but let this be a warning if you just stumble upon this thread.

Is there anyway I can roll back to SP2 ?

I've noticed an actual decrease in gaming performance.

I didn't notice any problems with installing Biggs, but I trust your wisdom and as I had to reformat due to HDD issues, I won't install it again.

Let us know when you think its good to go!

I did not notice any problems either until I needed to install some apps and or change hardware. I wnet through hell figuring out why a device would not allow me to install drivers due to it. The main problem is when software looks at the OS version. Also some things for protection in sp3 will not allow you to change if the file is older then file on pc.

I need to overhaul all of my systems. I use ghost images but there is still time consumption I just don't have when doing all the data transfers.
