Oxygen for sale!

As I was reading about Japan, I found a product they sell in convenient stores that you can buy with your pizza, pop, and other snacks.

The product name is O2 Supli and contains about 35 puffs (each puff being 2-3 seconds) of oxygen. Both products are aimed at folks who are stressed out (cheaters on Serious sam :P) that gets on their nerves. The green can has a minty taste and “refreshes the head/brain” while the blue can “refreshes the body”.

Would you buy it to try it out? I would :)

If by regular oxygen you mean what we breathe now then yes there is a difference. From what I understand (not having personally tried it) it's the equivalent of a safe and euphoric high.

i've been to oxygen bars before..they give you this mask like if you were at the dentist

it's pretty intense, reallllllllly relaxing

The air we breathe is 21% oxygen. Breathing more concetrated amounts (95% is the norm at these bars) oxygen does give you a euphoric high.

There are proponents that say it increases energy, makes you sleep better - all sorts of things. There are also doctors saying that it does nothing, and that if given at the wrong pressure, can actually hurt you.

It's well known that casinos are also in the practice of pumping in air that has a higher percentage of oxygen than regular air (though not nearly the 95% of a bar), in the hopes that your euphoric happiness makes you spend more money.

EDIT: We all know EXCEPT for BobtheCkroach from Fight Club that the reason airplanes have those oxygen masks is to comfort the people rather than scream in terror when something bad happens...
