Audi Superbowl Ad

So I'm sure you all saw the ad for the new Audi R8 near the start of the Superbowl. Freakin wicked looking car. We were all drooling over it at work yesterday morning as we discussed the game and ads.

So I pull up the wiki page for it.
Pricing for the R8 model starts from €104,400.The base price in the US is $109,000.

As Audi AG owns Lamborghini, 15% of the R8 is shared with the Lamborghini Gallardo, including the transmission and chassis.

Which of course, makes us all drool even more.

Then, I swear to God, we go out to lunch and what do I noticed tucked away in the parking lot across the street from our office (Pardon the crappy cell phone pics)....

From what I've read, it seems everyone is pretty much saying it's a Porche killer. Saying it handles, performs and rides better than any Cayman or GT out there.

Should be interesting to see how it plays out to say the least.

350z's are pretty sweet cars one of my favs but i would take a 1989 twin turb0 300zx "fairlady" over the new ones any day. it's the same car 350z is the 25th anniversary one i think or something like that.

edit: btw i have a 1990 cavalier 2.8 to 3.1 swap tons of motor work and a race built tranny :) still searching for a turbo kit or a supercharger runs 14.5 in a quarter mile :) not too shabby concidering it ran 17.3 with the 2.8

I drove the 350z and it handles great but the power was ok, Uh the salesman stopped me when I hit 145 mph and he looked like he was gonna hurl. Wouldn't let me test out any other cars. Can't understand it I told him he probably wouldn't get another chance to find out how fast it would go!!!!! hehehehe.
