Well Ill just say one thing. Out of the ALL the GTA's Ive played, this by far has surpassed the quality of game devoping I have ever seen. I always ask myself "How did they do all of this?" Its just overwhelming for me.

if anyone is having problems with the game freezing or not getting past the first loading screen, sign out of playstation network and it should work fine. this means you wont have online play but at least it wont lock up anymore.
dont know if this works on the 360 as well, but its worth a try.

I havent had or heard of any freezing in this game. sucks to those who have experienced it :P

Think that's just you. I've been playing lots of online and Cops and Crooks is probably the best mode but I really hate how some servers have auto-aim.

nope, not just me. my friend was getting it to so he called Take Two, said he got a message about not being able to get through due to high traffic on their help line, so he called Rockstar, spoke to someone there that said he was in a room full of people that have been getting calls all day about the game freezing. he told him what i posted earlier, to log out of ps network, and it worked fine.

ok the 360's version is better because it's not edited the ps3's version is. on my 360 it freezes at the first loading screen to paly the first misson but after a few tries iot worked fine great game 10/10

I'd suggest buying a 360 since Playstation 3's game selection is nowhere near Xbox's selection, and that the online is more developed and less jittery than Playstation's imo..

Do you have a 1080p tv to use the blu-ray player? If not then you wont be experiencing BLU-RAY !

Go for PS3 version, there's tons of games coming out this year. Plus, all review websites such as IGN say the PS3 version has better visuals. Even the Take II boss says so.

Go for the ps3 its the future in consoles

then swap out the HD it comes with and store movies mp3 and soon u will be abel to use it as a HD recorder also = media center

and + there are really some nice games on the way beside the opnes already out

I just completed the bank robbery mission after about 5 tries and it was AWESOME. I don't think they even need to make a game based of the Michael Mann movie "Heat" because that mission felt like I was Val Kilmer taking out cops with my M16.

Was a tough mission. Took me about 4. Good stuff. Its hard, but possible :thumbs:

This game is lots of fun. Great characters, storyline and immersion. I'm only about 7% complete as I can only play after my kids have gone to bed. Looking forward to unlocking the rest of the map.

^^ I managed to drive through the road block and cross the bridge but then there was another road block chock full of police. A short exchange of gunfire was followed by a hospital visit.lol
I also went looking for a helicopter to steal at the airport, same result. i guess I'll stick to the missions for now.
