According to Wiki, its a 1 in 50,000,000 chance of any mini-black holes forming

Besides, there may already be microscopic black holes in the earth, although scary in principle their gravity is so miniscule that they can only eat what they come in contact with randomly.

A clarification

The countdown timer was set to the 15th of May because there was no definite time given for the actual activation, recent events show that CERN wont be dividing by zero until much later on in the year, so now the countdown timer will be reset again and will be continually tweaked to go by the latest info that CERN are releasing.

So sorry to disappoint you all, but you wont be dying tomorrow.

the vatican has already answed all the questions. one of their astronomers has said that the universe was likely created by the big bang and all the creationist stuff was nonsense. Er, ok, maybe not the second part.
