What do you guys think is coming this time?

We only have til Saturday or Sunday til we know.

I'm pretty sure it's gonna be Diablo 3, though there are enough questions to make me doubt.

What we know:

The teaser (at www.blizzard.com) debuted yesterday. It had the rune that you can see on the left. This seems to match a rune from the Frostmourne blade in the Warcraft universe.

Today the picture was updated - teh crack in the ice-ish material got bigger, and another run, added in the upper right. This distinctly matches a rune from diablo 2.

Further more, if you view the page's source, then view the css file, it has 2 images commented out. They are:

As it happens, the 4th and 15th letter are D and O, which are 2 letters of diablo. Yesterday, only the D was there.

they appear to link to eachother @ the lower-right point of the first and the upper left point of the 2nd.

So...what do we have? Tomorrow could be very revealing! We should get a 3rd rune and a 3rd image of the blue creature.

I enjoy how blizzard announces things - it's so much fun! :)

I would be seriously shocked. The announcement may or may not be Diablo 3, or a release date for WotLK, or whatever, but it will definitely be something.

They've announced at least 3-4 projects via some hype/buildup prior to their events (SC2 last year, WoW several years ago, Ghost in 2002)

They enjoy throwing a bit of misdirection (hence the symbols from 2 different games, weird purple monster picture, etc), but they never just bluff.

So, a new rune - from StarCraft 2.

), thsi one mapping to "W" in the alphabet...so we have

W,O,D..."world" is the current best guy as to what they're spelling.

They just can't make it easy to guess, can they! :P

I've been anxiously waiting for 2 months for this, ever since Blizzard acquired www.diablo3.com from a fansite that had owned it for 10 years or so.
