Hey hidey, gang! My little miss has just celebrated her very first birthday! [gush] As such, i naturally feel all lovey dovey and suitably inspired to finally pimp her out to my favourite online community. Please form an orderly line and pucker up. Her name is Kiara, and apparently i have to do everything she says. [points at her mom and makes "nothing new" eye roll]

Ow. Sorry babe. Cool story with my girlie, actually. Y'see, halfway through her pregnancy she did a full page modeling gig for Cosmopolitan Pregnancy (not sure if you get that mag in the States and such), but what was cool about it was that the magazine hit stands on the very same morning my little gal was born! In fact, that day also happened to be a public holiday. What's more, the delivery lasted all of 3.5 hours with zero problems! With that amazing run of events, if an alien has suddenly appeared to shake my hand and probe my bottom, I probably would not have thought it odd!

Anyway, while my first Daddy year has been both busy and challenging, the rewards are simply incalculable (fellow dads out there are all nodding their heads, either knowingly or from lack of sleep). In short, I am a happy hombre!

No doubt you've guessed what's coming next. It's been about 4 years (!) since my last big ol' captioned, GameMecca indulgence (http://picasaweb.google.com/SoggyGabriel/2004CapsGameMecca), so let's start the celebration anew!

Oh lordy Pathos.....you're a sick man! That poor baby doesn't stand a chance of growing up even close to normal. Probably never bring her friends around, she'll tell her them that her real dad died in a tragic accident with some drunk kangaroos and you're all her mother could find on short notice.

Caps on the caps? Haha! Love it, Jim! Reminds me i need to finish that one last chronicle with you and my man Pure... the baby kinda put a stop to all that (along with the Dance War Movie). For now. Heck, the only reason i even found time for these caps is i'm actually on annual leave. Yes, no traveling to exotic locals or heroic, bare-chested boar hunting for me - i chose instead to stay home and photoshop! Very relaxing. You should all try it.

Anyway, sincerest cheers, gang! Good hearing from you. I think i might take a leaf out of DE's book and just periodically add some piccies to this thread as she grows older. Perhaps once a year. Yeah, that sounds good. [empty promise to self]

For now, i'll attach some shots which apparently i am "not allowed to caption". Go figure. These are some of our absolute faves... especially the first one; she always sleeps with both arms up in the air all superhero-munchkin-like - what a girl! And just what is it with babies and mirrors... ?

Haha! My arch-nemesis strikes again! Awesome, Bingo, just awesome!

And man, while my little miss can't talk yet, just now she was sitting on her mum's lap flipping through an old photo album and loudly clapping, pointing and exclaiming every time she saw me in a photo. A few moments later she would flick back to the SAME photos and do it all over again. Haha!

That kinda stuff makes life worth living...
