Had to bury Fred II today. Fred was what's commonly known as a "feeder fish" aka gold fish. He was 8 years old. RIP my friend. :)

Seems that you had a close relationship with him, did you ever had to take him out for a walk or better yet for a swim? LOL

Long time for a gold fish they last long I had one for 6 ½ and use to call him devour because he would eat anything. Good old Fred was huge, and may he RIP.

Fred was a big ol' fish, you all must have had him in a pretty good sized tank.

yeh, we kept him in a big tank, I liked the guy, the minute I walked into the room he'd start begging for food, we'll be shopping for more fish today or tomorrow.
It's not like I got all choked up about his croaking......but it was saddening to watch him die (he got ick), the big guy hung on for quite awhile.
He didn't get as big as Fred I, that guy covered the shovel blade from end to end. :)

Big feeder fish..did he start out about the size of your thumb?

yep, we bought 10 "thumb size" feeder fish 8 years ago, Fred II was the last survivor. :)
