Israelian (artistic) movie about an ex-soldier who retraces his memory of the Lebanon war by interviewing his former comrades.
This is a movie made by means of animation. It's a striking choice and a great visual experience.
I was intrigued from the first scene on, where as a viewer you feel part of the displayed nightmare (thanks to the 3D animation and the good choice of sound).
Every interview is a miniature story which gives you a new inside-view/angle on the Lebanon war.
In the end the story of the movie is connected with the historical/political events of Sabra and Chattila.
It's a movie which makes you think, but it is not directly moralising
The miniature stories are so varied that you stay attentive.
The interview approach is a surprising way to tell the movie storyline.
