Sorry about the quality because I had to scan it from a magazine. I couldn't find it yet on their website, but the case looks cool.

I'm thinking that it may be an Alienware exclusive case. Alienware cases used to be modified Cheiftec cases, but now they have completely redesigned the look. They do come in many colors but $4000 is a bit much for a computer. :P Who knows, maybe Chieftec or Antec will release a generic one that looks similar to it.

Bwahaha you took it from Maximum PC.

The case is all pre molded plastic, it takes 5 hours t omake one, and it costs 5,000 bucks for it and the components. Then it comes with a 30 inch LCD, and all they give you is a free T-shirt and Mousepad. :P

Looks pretty sweet but being made out of plastic it wouyld be difficult to add extra case fans. It needs a fan on the side. Other than that it's pretty darn cool.

Since we are on the topic of cases.
I need a new one.
I don't care about looks so much.
What I need is a case that supports front fan
2 side fans, at least 1 top fan and at least 2 back fans.

I think it has places for 2 more in front and 2 more in back but with those two 4 inch fans there is really no need for any more.

Um no not Maximum PC, and the top end system they had in it was about $2700  I will see if I can find the correct specs and details on the case. What we be cool is if they also put a clear window on the side with vents for side fans, then it would own!

It is the Thrustmaster Tactical Board. I use it instead of the keyboard when playing games.

I thought they were modified Antec 1040s, but the Chieftec copied that design. That is a great looking case. Alienware makes top-quality stuff, but they sure do get a premium for it!

Atually I think Antec bought the cases from Chieftech and put their power supply in them and sold them as Antec cases.

Really? I have no idea, really, I know that I saw the 830/840 and 1030/1040 boxes at Antec, and in the months after, saw an awful lot of imitators. I've even seen them listed as "1040 style", but I don't know who owns what. Darn good case design. A buddy bought one soon after I saw them on the Antec site, he liked that he had an intake fan blowing across his warm IBM Deathstar HD.

Part of the reason I thought the case design was Antec's are comments like this one, from Ars Technica (http://arstechnica.com/). I like Ars, and they do review some nice cases.

"The case in question features the ever-popular Antec SX-1000 series chassis."

I didn't see anything there to confirm or deny, so I went to Antec's site, and e-mailed them about it. They wouldn't lie to me, would they? :hmmm:
