I would say anything <8ms. But I still notice subtle blur at even 2ms.

they now have the 120 hz and 200 hz tvs. the numbers don't have to do with refresh rates but with the way two video frame are taken and smoothed into multiple frames to give an even picture without smearing or blurring. prepare to spend some money though....

<8ms is what I've read and this matches pretty well with what I've observed in the stores.
