POWER UPS

;) beign new here i'd like to know the deal on power ups....
is it considered a nono to use them now ??
is it just with some people or the majority ??
why not modify the normal maps to increase the time they appear or remove them alltogether ?????? :wave:

It is a touchy subject. But if it's in the game, use it! Unless it's agreed upon at the start not to use the pups.

Like Pure said.......touchy subject. Some people will curse you till the end of time for using one. Others dont care. Personally I rarely use power ups. Exceptions are.....if i'm in the hole and go in the water to power up health sometimes that invisibility calls my name if it's spinning ever so sweetly in that hole. Or in Yodeller when you kill santa and oops invun. pops out. Other than that no. I'm ususally trying to save my behind in a game and cant afford to go out of my way for a stupid power up.

You know what, the players who complain about people using the pups are the ones who are always looking fo the perfect game, IMO. I say use them, in UT there are no silly side rules, you just play the game.
