Upgrade

Well, today's the day. Here are my upgrades:

256mb Ram (don't know what kind) = [b:03f03c5e0b]512mb DDR 2700[/b:03f03c5e0b]
Dell mobo (don't know what kind) = [b:03f03c5e0b]ASUS P4B533[/b:03f03c5e0b]
Dell Dimension 4100 case = [b:03f03c5e0b]Mid ATX with window[/b:03f03c5e0b], fan on window + 2 more, the case came with a [b:03f03c5e0b]350watt [/b:03f03c5e0b]power supply, I'm debating on going to a 400 (or higher). [size=18:03f03c5e0b]"[u:03f03c5e0b][i:03f03c5e0b]Comments from the audience please"[/i:03f03c5e0b][/u:03f03c5e0b][/size:03f03c5e0b]
I'm keeping the dvd/cd and cd-rw drives. Also keeping the [b:03f03c5e0b]Soundblaster[/b:03f03c5e0b] [b:03f03c5e0b]Live[/b:03f03c5e0b]. And of course, I'm keeping my recently installed [b:03f03c5e0b]GeForce 4 Ti4600[/b:03f03c5e0b].

Will most likely by a dual optical mouse and a keyboard, but I'm in no hurry, I've grown accustomed to what I have now, and don't look forward to changing.

Thank you, Machine. I will do that. BTW, I stayed with the 350WATT power supply. I haven't had any problems yet. And yes, I've got my fingers crossed. :lol:

Thanks BIG, I already picked up the parts last week though. Paid 175 for the P4 and 123 for the board. The RAM was 135 and the case (which I really like) was only 45.
Played a little SS today, noticed some improvement, in speed. I'm sure I'd see more if I "tweaked" things. I'll get the dual optical mouse next.
What kind of goodies do you have in your PC? :)
