Updates to Serious Sam HD: Second Encounter have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Added automatic reconfiguration of menu and HUD on extra wide screens (e.g. ATI Eyefinity).
Fixed "FlagThief" achievement not being awarded.
Fixed "HeavyWeightChampion" achievement taking much more time to achieve when playing on a server with higher
framerate (like dedicated servers).
Players now drop chainsaw and sniper weapons in deathmatch (and other versus modes).
Added workaround for occasional crash inside XAudio2 sound interface when using 5.1 speaker config.
Renamed demos would refuse to play back with a "version mismatch" error. Renaming now properly adjusts the
demo info.
Fixed glitching in game overlay menu that happened if scrollbars appeared.
Fixed wrong output of player names containing characters ''.Updated string input to make it usable via controller. Previously, it was possible to activate the input menu
via controller but then player had to use keyboad/mouse for exit.

I couldn't believe it, they finally finished it with 16 players now. That would be a blood bath for sure hehehe

I can see this can be an event for all to enter and as for me I would probably be laughing my head off watching myself and many others being blown to bits and the blood bath. hehehe

They waited too long to do this but there is still a chance for some players to possibly consider a GM event of Serious Sam Second Encounter.

Long ago I remember with the help of Shogun and many others of an event we did that I until this day remember the fun I had with all members and it didn't matter who won but what matter was the fun we all had, which is something that can possibly be re-created again.

Knife fight with 16 players would be awesome. . . hehehehe

Exactly! Give me a decent netcode for once Croteam and I will actually spend real US dollars on your products. I refuse to buy broken merchandise.

eh, where's my violin? nitro, you probably have 5000 hours in the game, which you probably downloaded from somewhere, and you are here complaining about it? LOL

On SS:SE, I probably have thousands of hours of gameplay, that's true, but this new game I never bothered with because the bugs starting with Sam 2 just made it unplayable to the point that it was not enjoyable. At least SS:SE has bugs that were fun sometimes and others that were not as bad as for them to supersede the faults in the game.

I'm not complaining, I'm just stating my very direct intent given the circumstances the game finds itself in. Besides, with LOTRO now able to be played for free, any spare time has all but disappeared for moi.

I miss Sam soo much ):

I was talking about an event with GM to have a Knife fight with 16 players.

I am curious to know who is play what game now because I am thinking of actually coming back to play a game but will only decide to play one game only.
I don't have the time like I use to but I sure can find sometime for one game to stay with and play.

16 players on one server playing sam, will never happen. We couldn't even get that being at a lan party, let alone it would hardly play with 8-10 people!

Did you miss the free multiplayer weekend ?
Because actually that update already arrived on 2nd July and the *fixed netcode* was disguised as this line:

'Added server-side lag compensation for bulleted and close range weapons when hitting other players. This makes those weapons hit where you aim, even at high pings (in versus modes).'
However, from what I know, that netcode update only applied to SE HD. LOL @ FE HD players
But really, SE HD's netcode is as good as it gets now.
Find 3 more people who are interested in SSHD SE, buy the four pack (http://store.steampowered.com/app/41010/) and gift the extra copies to them. :)
