Wave Goodbye to Google Wave

On Wednesday, Google said that it will stop developing Wave as a standalone product and that the Web site could be shuttered by the end of the year. The technology will remain available if people want to develop new tools with it.

I thought it was an odd app to begin with, looked like they wanted to create something new, but couldn't figure out exactly what to do

I could never understand what it was..perhaps in the future something like that will come back but be simpler to use and understand.
