Playing with head phones?

Since we have had about 3 inches of sleet the last couple of days :bandhead: my wife has been home from work :bandhead: :bandhead: . I have also been home alot :jammin: . She was complaining about the noise from the game :WTF: . I got my walkman headphones and started using them. It is pretty cool! I usually play late at night and have to keep the volume down, not anymore :thumbs: ! Anyone else tried this?

I always play with headphones at night when Bain is sleeping cause unfortunately my comp is in our Bedroom :(

We played with headphones all the time at our LAN party and I must say it's great. The sound is much more intensive (louder :P )

I play with headphones also....Keeps peace in the house, plus I can hear better with them. Mine are the large ones that cover the whole ear.

I hadn't noticed how loud the game was with the backround music and everything cranked up. I've used headphones ever since.

I use headphones only. Sweet Aiwa HP-X222's that cover the whole ear.

I use the Microsoft Sidewinder GameVoice Headphones made by Plantronics.. they work great.. and where free with the purchase of UT2003.. :thumbs:

The only chances i get to play are at night after work so i usually use headphones so i can crank the volume up... quite often get frags reacting to hearing someone pick up the armor or health etc..

:thumbs: I always keep the headphones handy. I dont use them all the time, but when I dont want to disturb the babies naps with the background noise of carnage they come in handy. The sound is much better with them. No background noise so you&#39;re completely hearing the game. :thumbs:
