For those who think deactivating facebook isn't enough...

Delete your Facebook instead. Deactivation leaves everything preserved but makes you invisible to your friends and everybody else for that matter, until you log in again. Deleting takes 2 weeks and is final so you can finally get rid of your account.

Not sure but if you delete all the info from your account before deleting it, there is no info to keep ; )
