Well, it's all put together. Will do bench marks next. I know you're all excited for me. :roll: So just calm down, and I'll let you know what my bench marks are. :lol:

Hehe. Got to love AMD. I get 12,000 on 3dmark2001 on my XP2200 and it runs at 1.8 GHz. Haven't even overclocked it yet. AMD RULZ!

Intel is ok though. :wink:

Dude something is wrong in your bios settings. Change your memory and hard drive settings. You got the pc2700 mem right? Make it at least 4:3 ratio. Also make sure your hd settings are at dma133. That board is better then mine, you should be blowing me out of the water. ;) And my board comes close to Machines.

Yeah but the front side is 533 mhz, and mem is 333mhz. Which means that he can probably overclock the cpu to 2.4ghz and mem to 400mhz! But anyways, HPC, without overclocking anything, you need to adjust some settings.

Okey Dokey, how do I change the settings? Is there a simple step one, step two, type instructions somewhere on the internet? :idea: :idea:

The nice thing about ASUS boards is the processors can be overclocked in the bios. I am asuming that you left the default settings, which are jumper free mode? (in other words, you didn't flip and tiny white switches that are smaller then a matchtip on your board) Tell you what, since it is 2 am here, and I have to work tomorrow, I will walk you through the process tomorrow night, if you want?

i had around 9000 score with the 1200 AMD 256 sd ram G-froce 4 TI4200 with 128 ddr but i overclockt my pc to 1400 mhz and my g-force to :wink:

OK, Gentleman, Ladies, I did a scan disk and a defrag. I then re-ran all of the benchmarks. The numbers creeped up a little on the 3D Mark 2000 and 2001. The real jump was on the PC Mark 2002:
