Can anyone suggest a good one to use.
USB from my camera takes forever to get onto my hd.
I prefer an internal mounted one.

Well don't know much about that, other then when I bought my digicam, I got one that stored the images on to a floppy disc, no cables, no software, just pull off the jpeg images from the floppy and email, edit, ect from there.

I think any would work.
I have been trying to find an all in one jammie
Like this one LINK (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?sku=S450-5030)

But I don't know a thing about them.
I wish I could connect it to a firewire card

I have a dazzle, which uses USB 2.0 and reads 6 different media types. (not internal though) Is your camera not USB 2.0? If it is, they should be uploading fairly quickly.

That could be the problem thats it's not usb 2.0
It seems that all of them that I see do have a usb interface.

I have the same kind of card reader...

and I'm very happy about it :P

but Slice, do tell me, what exactly is USB 2.0 and how do you find out if your camera is compatible with it? (Aries TC-->technically challenged)

USB 2.0 is the latest usb which runs at about 40 times faster then usb 1.* It has actually been around for almost 2 years now. (just a guess) Your mother board is where you would need to check to see if it is USB 2.0 enabled. Or go to Control panel, then system, device manager, and look in the list for USB. You can either right click on it and select properties, or just double click on it to get the driver and version details.
