Is anyone else as excited for the new Deus Ex as I am? Easily my favorite game after Serious Sam as it has always had a very surreal element that was prophetic in nature (the World Trade Center was destroyed by 'terorrists' and the game came out before that happened). The new game gets even more surreal and it looks like it will be absolutely phenomenal. It's been getting amazing reviews everywhere and I can't wait to play it. The year 2027 is of particular interest and I can't say why but it's yet another eerily prophetic aspect of the game mirroring what may come.

Nitro, I honestly found you to be much more entertaining when you posted obscure and apocalyptic dark riddles than see you switch to posting game advertisements in OT.

Granted, you did mention surreal prophecy, but the gaming forum is that way --->

<--- Or maybe that way. I dunno which way you are facing.

haha Sirc : P

I wanted to post something in OT to get it more active and all there was way too many political threads so I wanted to put the Game back in GameMecca whilst adding my online persona's touch to it. I was thinking about posting it in the gaming forum but I was afraid it wouldn't see much viewership.

Thanks for the link Jim, I'd going to check that out and order myself a copy. I especially like that they introduced a health regeneration aspect to the game so you don't have to run all around the level to find health packs like in the other ones.

Plague! And it's jumped international borders! Let it be recorded in history that Pure Evil and Die Hard were the first on their respective continents to contract this hideous modern-world nemesis.

Or is the game that bad? Not sure why 50% of the people in this thread are throwing up.

I do have my trusty shotgun and plenty of ammo close at hand though, and I know to shoot for the head when shit gets real and people start clawing at my doors and windows.

Bring it.

This is one of the best games I've played in the past three years! Sneaking around and taking out a room full of enemies either by shooting or doing silent takedowns is amazing. The missions are pretty straightforward and it's hard to get lost. Plus the hacking mini game is lots of fun.
