Just so you all know, I did some pruning of attachments tonight. Any attachment that was over a year old (I think that's how far I went back, I initially went back 2 years, but that was only 4640 attachments, going back just 1 year brought the total up to 18,656) I pruned from the site, and I discovered another folder with other attachments in it, which I think was from previous forum versions, that was 80% of the site usage. I don't remember how many files where in there, but it went from like 960,000kb down to 170,000kb. The site usage went from 1.7G down to in the 900M of storage.
By doing this, it allows me to make backups and get those files downloaded faster, so that I can get forum software updates installed.
Hopefully this isn't an inconvenience to any body. You might have lost your avatar or something in your sig, but you can just reupload it.
