Weapons damage

anyone have any idea how much damage each weapon does? I have looked all over and can't find anything on it.

its all relative to where you hit the person, what difficulty your on and so on and so forth.

i do know that cannons do alot of damage and pistols do very little.

Actually on serious mode the pistols will kill someone with no armor and 100 health in 3 shots. But they are hard to aim. :P

don't shake your hand and you will aim better. Have a :drink: or 2 before playing. A relaxed sammer is a better aiming sammer ;)

knife: 100
pistol: 40
shotguns: 20 per pellet (7 for single, 14 for double)
minigun and tommy gun: 20 per bullet (20 and 10 bullets per second)
rocket and grenade: not sure. direct hits seem to be ~200.
laser: not sure. 40 or 60 maybe?
sniper rifle: not sure. >100 when zoomed.
cannon: kills on a direct hit, explosion seems similar to grenade/rocket splash.

For hard damage is 75% that, for normal 50%. I think.
Don't quote me on any of those though. ;)

I don't think it actually matters where you hit them.

The knife will kill you with a backstab even if you have 200/200. :wacko:

The knife I thought was 75 hit points if it wasn't a backstab.


Another interesting question is how effective is armor?
I think armor will absorb 66% of the damage and then the remaining 33% is deducted from your health.

If your that interested I'll find out the exact damage for every gun in every difficulty even how much dammage a cannon does direct hit i think its somewhere around 600 or maybe 300 i forget but i wont be able to tell you explosion damage sorry :WTF:
