Here is there update guys. Bunch of crap if you ask me:

Monday update - Serious Sam:The Second Encounter patch info October 28, 2002

Hi all!

The new patch for Serious Sam:The Second Encounter is almost there. Among other things, the patch will bring a totally new netcode, and since I'm the guy responsible for it, a few extra lines from me would be adequate.

Good news: we switched from peer-to-peer networking to full server-client. This means that sync bads are a thing of the past. No more demos going haywire, and no more getting kicked from the coop game just when the adrenaline is at it's highest. Also, prediction for players and especially enemies is much simpler and straight-forward than before, so latency should no longer have a large impact on the framerate. We are currently doing final testing, smoothing out some minor glitches and quirks, so it should be out in no time.

Bad news (there always are bad news): old demos and saved games will not work. Sorry guys, but there was no other way.

hey, this is GOOD news guys, they have actually told us how the new netcode will work, and how it will be improved. From what i understand, they will be giving us exactly what we want, regardless of when it is released. Better to have a well tested patch versus having another 1.07 :roll:

You then complained that even with that update, there was no patch. Maybe they should just release it as it is, buggy, and with only half-working netcode...again? They're making sure they get it right this time so this doesn't happen again.

They have a 16-year old ego maniac trying to moderate them, their own members are saying the forum is going to sh1t (go look in OT), and in 5 weeks, we are matching the same amount of traffic they are getting per day. The only people that are left there are the fanboys who blindly follow Rod as if his word is gold. Look at the ages of the people you are arguing with and then you'll realize it's like arguing with a child that the sky is not purple. A waste of keystrokes.

hey you guys that helped speak up for me in my old thread i appreciatte it as i really got banned for nothing. but for those that didnt can kiss my as i was saying. i forgot all about that site until grimmy asked for help. i got tire of rod and the way he does things. is he really 16 yrs old? thats a joke if he is but really too young for me to put my 14" boot in his ass. that guy green monkey is another ass, but someone said they are young. if you people read the thread that i got banned you will see i never really put down croteam or attacked someone unless i was attacked. but after seeing this thread it would only mean i have to get back in there and enjoy the fun some more as i was going to forget about it--what the hell i will be in there before week is up.

I deleted that one post cause Salvation said it was weak. Sal always holds me back and never lets me go crazy.. he knows my abilities!
