i don't undestand:
when i make own server in 1.07, my ping is 20-25
and in 1.05 it's 2-8.

so is 1.05 faster version than 1.07???????????????

I have played on 1.05 but I don't really care for the attitude and sportsmanship of the SOME of the players in there. Also, there are a couple of strange looking creatures running around with a canon (or some other weapon) on top of them and I am too distracted by the oddity. 1.07 suits my fancy just fine. As far as ping/speed, I never noticed any difference. :wave:

I think spamming is more normal in 1.05, so there's more spamming there

especially with the infinite ammo!!

I don't know about that.......In real life, if someone gets shot with a double barrell 12 guage shotgun with 00 buck shot they pretty much die right there on the spot, or at the very least get blown to the ground and lie there bleeding. They don't jump right back up and blast you. :lol:

1. Difficulty is "normal" or "hard", not "noob serious". That brings skill to the game. 1 shot is no skill.
2. The net code is better... the game is faster... (yeah, that's right).
3. More good servers.

And... 1.05 is not for noobs. Well.. there are noobs, but in 1.07 there are as much noobs.
Everyone who claims 1.05 is for noobs... please come and play on a server with me and few DWFs... :devil:

I don't believe that the netcode is better, just that the 3D engine does more in 1.07, and even more in 1.50, and that just uses up all of the cpu. I have played SS:FE in coop mode, and there have been 13 people on with no latency or lag. I think with more than 9 you have issues on SE.

Yes I rated on the lag and latency too as - well as the players and engines (driving the game - i dont like motorsport .. :lol: ) too!...

Most of the 1.07 severs are in America, so American players will get better ping and like 1.07. 1.05 servers are all European so the Europeans will like it.

Normal/Hard difficulty vs. Serious... eh, they both have advantages. Serious will let a noob's lucky grenade kill you in one shot, but it makes the serious damage less important since everyone can kill in one or two good hits anyway. Since I don't really like using serious damage, I'd rather play serious or hard than normal. ;)

1.05 has too many 'crab like' characters that can swim on the ground, hide in the trees, stick onto the walls, etc.. It's becoming a cheap way of playing :down:

I know the hceat thngy where you cn sim on land in &#39;The Hole&#39; level. But I never use it ..
