No. Everything has limits and Weapon has exceeded this one. He has pushed all the legitimate threads back to the third page now. That's bull****. Enough is enough. Sorry if I caused any harm here without realizing it...

So by posting 'gg' 'welcome' 'congrats'.... by showing support...that is spaming???...Then everyone else should stop it as well...

and I don't respond to old post...all of the post i responded to are within the last two days...so the post aren't pushed back as u said they were...

It wouldn't be fair to point at one individual and not addressing others about it too...

You have been warned about this before. Are you dense? Do you see anyone else posting 2 1/2 solid pages of posts? If this happens again I'm going to seriously push the GM reps to do something about you.

But deep down inside you are aware that all of my recent posts are supportive ones. Most notably being addressed to new members, game screenies, etc...and trying to keep all the other sections of the forums active by responding to RECENT post, within the last two days…Unlike others like yourself who most of the time Spam away in the off topic section and ignore the other important sections of the forums. At least I try to respond to every recent forum sections including the new one for ‘DAOC’. Trying to show support respect…Didn’t realize I was spaming with now about 50 post thus far...which includes posting on different sections of the forums…there are like 23 different sections here plus sub sections on each of them. And I responded to most of them if not all. So according to u, this is spaming cause that’s that I did…responded to different sections of the forums. Do the math….

And other thing, there are other members here with 70 plus postings per a day and they don’t spam right???

But a new individual like myself here do, especially one who responds to all of the sections of the forums which tends to push the post count to about 50 or so...

and if this is wrong then i shoudn't be here...

Maybe I come on here at the wrong time…

That was pathetic. First of all I don't spam. Okay, maybe once in a while, but I sure as heck don't fill 3 pages with it. Don't you realize that when you come here and post 50 posts within an hour that you push all the pertinant threads back so far that no one will even read them?

I ain't buying it dude. The members here that post 70 posts per day do it over a 24 HOUR PERIOD. Not in a single hour.

I'm done talking about this with you. Stop this crap or pay the price.

Ahem...I been here for about 4 hours....that's 240 mins and posted about 50 posts....that’s 1 post every 4.8 minutes...thats a long time in between...

Its not 1 post every second or every minute...lol...

and those 3 pages of postings are coming from different sections of this board(mentioned above), which I posted on(23 sections plus sub sections in them). Didn’t' meant for it too happen like this, but it just did.

And besides it’s now gone, others have filled those 3 pages up...

So stop complaining :P …

Spam has been getting just a little bit out of hand which later can result to a pointless threads.

Use the threads we got now and dont spam like 70 an hour. I all agree with Sirc. :thumbs:

i try to spam alot, i think i manage 4.5 post a day and thats some hard work for me
and in the year 2053 i will have 82125 postes and rule this place :jammin:

i honestly dont think Weapon XxX spams any more that Mr. Clean does, sure clean has more content in his posts, but i know many MANY people say "gg" and its not consitered spam, but it seems when someone says it in all screenie posts they are classified a spammer. Sorry Sirc, but i dont support your views here, Weapon XxX is a valued member here, sure he's new, but he's just having fun. Recall the old phoenix.....? He would post thngs like ;) and :blink: and "gg", that woudl be all, and no one would complain. He's not hurting anyone or bad mouthing, it's just with the off topic section being so dead in the past weeks if one member posts more than usual it's quite aparent

You're right. Each member should be able to do whatever they want here without concern or consideration for the other 548 members. The important thing is to have fun. If established members stop visiting GM, or new people don't join because the spam makes it too difficult to have a discussion, or get an answer to a question, then that's their problem. After all, the whole purpose of GM is to see how many times you can post in one day.

Go back 4 or 5 pages. At one point he had 3 SOLID PAGES of his own posts. I had to go to page 4 to read anything that was posted only an hour or two before. Six or seven posts in a row is nothing. 50 or 60 posts in a row is extreme hardcore spamming.

Whatever. I seem to be the only one who cares, or see's this as a problem. :WTF:

I agree with you that useless spam in certain places gets terribly annoying but when you're joking back and forth with friends and all of a sudden a thread is 30 posts long.....I say go for it!!

I hate Spam and I feel that the sections I moderate, The Hardware & Software sections should be reserved for serious discussions only and if you don't have something to contribute/pertains to the topic or if you don't know the answer to someone's question, Then don't post. We don't need to know that you don't know the answer. :rolleyes:

Wasn't the orginal reason we left Seriously because they wouldn't let us spam? I think as long as someone doesn't open 5 threads all for spamming then here isn't that much of a problem.

Maybe I just haven't been clear. I don't care about spam. It's fine. I have no problem with spam threads. They serve an important purpose here.

My problem with Weapon_XxX last night wasn't that he posted 50-60 posts. The problem was that he posted 1 post in 50-60 different threads within an hour or two. (Okay, maybe it wasn't that many, but it was enough to span 3 pages of threads).

more then 400 of those post were in the npbody tread :)
