What is your upload speed? From what I understand BF is quite the resource and bandwidth hog.

each user requires at least 56k of upload bandwidth to the server, so if you have a 256k up, then only 4 people can play on that link, 5 if one of them is local to that link.

it takes a dedicated T1 to host a 24 player game. :hmmm:

There are servers with 64 players that are relatively lag free.
Depends on the machine and the connection. I've also heard you need about 56K per person.
So for a 64 person server, that's one fat pipe.

Some of the smaller maps are fine with 6 v 6.
Some of the bigger ones, you really need at least 10 v 10 to make it fun.
If you play a big map with not enough people, it turns into a racing game. As soon as you take a point, you have to rush to the next, and by the time you get it, the enemy takes the one you left.
