Well, I still love Sam, but try this - play nothing but UT for 2 weeks then jump in a SS game. It will freak you out how fast-paced it is. IMHO nothing beats SS for shear balls-to-the-wall action. :wink:

I don't know man.UT is pretty damn sweet. The maps are awesome and ZERO lag. I mean none what so ever! I will still play Sam, but damn UT is sweet!

Well I'm not knocking UT! I like it. I'm just hesitant about jumping into a server and having REAL people kick my a$$ instead of bots! :D

You and Hammy need to start passing on playing tips! I'd feel more comfortable jumping in if the learning curved was a little less steep. It would be nice to know what to practice. Right now it would be like jumping into SS without a clue what to do.

Heh, I spent my very 1st 2 weeks of SS standing in the shadows of the fence in Red Station with a sniper rifle! :roll:

Man the only way to learn is to just jump in and do it. Maybe play some single player to get used to the weapons and movement before playing multiplayer.

That was a series of good games. Really intense. Some of those other guys were tough too! Even though their scores weren't all that great, they gave us a hell of a challenge!

I am stunned at the quality of the maps. They are just plain beautiful.

that wouldn't really make sence, marketing wise. If they put the worst maps in the demo, it might discourage potential customers... like me, lol.
